Blackstone’s Pizza opened a location near Noccalula Falls and this is the store that we’ve been patronizing. This is some absolutely delicious pizza and sandwiches! I love the Lousy Hunter pizza and The Dude sub! You’re gonna dig it!! Noccalula is a name attributed to a Cherokee maiden who, according to legend, jumped to her death at what is now called Noccalula Falls.As popularly retold, Noccalula's grieving father renamed the falls for her, and some claim that she still haunts the area below. The campground sits along Black Creek Gorge and offers awesome views of the Falls, the gorge, and the creek below. The Black Creek Trail is a 1.7 mile crushed stone path with beautiful scenery along the Black Creek Gorge as it works its way down from Noccalula Falls campground to Black Creek Road.
